The NSW Jewish Board of Deputies condemns in the strongest terms the racist abuse directed to two sisters on a street in Marrickville. The distress which we all feel in regard to coronavirus does not give anyone the right to accuse or abuse fellow Australians. We commend the sisters for their measured reaction and wish them, the Asian Australian community and all Australians good health and courage during this challenging time. The Jewish community will always stand up against bigotry.
