More than a dozen participants in the NSW Jewish Board of Deputies’ (JBD) 2022 We Are All Sydney (WAAS) community leadership program came together at the Sydney Jewish Museum last week for their graduation ceremony.

Addressing the group was inspiring guest speaker Ronni Kahn, founder of OzHarvest.

The program brings together leaders from Sydney’s diverse ethnic, faith and NGO communities and organisations for a series of free-of-charge leadership training workshops.

“I met so many wonderful people, all from different cultures, all collaborating and committed to making a difference in our city,” Kahn said.

Noting that the JBD program empowers the participants “to work together to improve society and do good”, Kahn added, “Bravo to the graduates and to everyone involved. May you keep uplifting our city and country for years to come.”

JBD CEO Darren Bark wholeheartedly congratulated the participants and said the organisation looked forward to hosting the workshops again next year.

The successful We Are All Sydney program is run by the NSW Jewish Board of Deputies’ Michael Gencher and Julia Sussman.
